Since selling our financial planning business inJuly 2013 we have had

many requests from previous clients and associates for assistance in

aged care. As a result in January 2015 we decided to start a consulting

business to meet the need in this specialised area. Our main focus is to

guide families through the process of planning and securing the right aged

care outcome.

With 23 years experience in financial planning, including; asset and means

testing; Centrelink and Department of Veteran Affairs and good old face to

face service, we feel perfectly suited to provide confidential and personal

assistance to those in need.

 

How We Can Help You

We aim to assist families with the decisions faced when a loved one has entered,

or is likely to enter an aged care facility or requires extra care at home.

July 2014 saw significant changes in aged care as a result of the Living Longer

Living Better legislation. It was meant to provide more transparency and more options

for aged care, however the complexity still remains. We will assist families in regards

to explaining the means tested fees and pension benefit adjustments.  Assist with all

documentation including Centrelink forms and application forms to Aged Care Facilities

and Home Care Packages.

Attend meetings with Family; care facilities; centrelink; financial planners; solicitors

and other organisations if required.

We will explain the stages of aged care entry and options in regards to the family home,

Refundable Accommodation Deposits and ongoing fees and charges.
